On the new map of Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, controllable weapons are very good. Warzone expert James „JGOD“ Godoy has presented 2 weapon setups with which you have almost no recoil.
With the new map Caldera, the way you fight in Warzone has changed. MeinMMO author Maik Schneider finds the fights more dynamic thanks to more cover and smaller houses. In general, shootouts no longer take place over such long distances as they did in Verdansk.
Despite the different gameplay flow, one characteristic of the weapons remains very important: the recoil. The weaker and more controllable the recoil is, the easier it is to hit with the weapon.
Warzone expert JGOD presented 2 weapon setups in one of his streams with which he has “literally no recoil.” He demonstrates this in an impressive Twitter video. He doesn’t even need to have his finger on the right stick and still has practically no recoil.
Because you can attach 10 attachments to your weapons in Warzone Pacific, many recoil-reducing attachments can be combined. This results in the laser beam-like precision that JGOD demonstrates. Below we present which weapons and attachments he uses.
Best Setup for the BAR Turns It into a Laser Beam
What does the setup look like? The assault rifle BAR is characterized by its high bullet damage. This is offset by a slow fire rate, which, however, is less dramatic in Warzone compared to the multiplayer of CoD: Vanguard.
With almost no recoil, the BAR is a kind of fully automatic DMR that shoots incredibly accurately. The result is a very dominant weapon at medium distances.
These are the weapon attachments:
- Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
- Barrel: CGC 30″ XL
- Optic: G16 2.5x
- Stock: Custom Pistol Grip
- Underbarrel: M1930 Strife Grip
- Magazine: .50-BMG Magazine (40 rounds)
- Ammo Type: Extended
- Grip: Polymer Grip
- Perk: Focus
- Kit: Fully Loaded
Ultra-Precise MP40 Setup Has Almost No Recoil
What does the setup look like? This MP40 setup removes the stock and uses the recoil booster, but is still incredibly precise. Compared to the BAR, with this setup you have a more aggressive loadout, which can also be used at longer distances.
The Extra Vital is not as OP as at the release of Vanguard. It is normally not available for the Warzone MP40. However, through the blueprint ‘Space Issues’, you have immediate access to it in Warzone – along with many other attachments in this setup. The blueprint is unlocked at Battle Pass Level 45.
If you do not possess the blueprint, you can safely swap the Extra out if you are only concerned about the low recoil. The greatest strength of this setup is anyway the precision, on which Vital has no effect.
However, JGOD recommends this setup with Vital. However, he himself is not sure how and if Vital even works in Warzone (via Twitter).
Weapon Attachments:
- Muzzle: Recoil Booster
- Barrel: Krausnick 317mm 04B
- Optic: G16 2.5x
- Stock: Stock Removed
- Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: Short 8mm 40-Round Magazine
- Ammo Type: Hollow Point
- Grip: Polymer Grip
- Extra 1: Vital (Blueprint ‘Space Issues’ / Battle Pass Level 45)
- Extra 2: Fast
Setups are Individual and Strong in Overkill Loadout
Both the BAR and the MP40 are very strong on the Pacific island of Caldera with these laser beam setups. Both weapons excel at slightly different distances: The BAR, being the slower weapon, is strong at greater distances, while the MP40 is better in tighter spaces. Although both setups are designed for maximum precision, they complement each other very well in an Overkill loadout.
However, both weapons together may possibly serve the same niche too much for you. In that case, you can choose Ghost instead of Overkill in your loadout. You can also combine them with another weapon of your choice. In particular, we currently highly recommend a very strong sniper setup.
