In the week from July 5 to 11, two new MMORPGs were released. Additionally, there were new updates regarding many indie MMORPGs that are currently in development. We from MeinMMO have summarized all the news.
The highlights of the week:
- On July 6, Crowfall was released. However, despite over 50,000 players already paying for it, only a fraction of them plays.

This week’s controversy: A new cinematic featuring Sylvanas was shown in WoW. However, it is not well received. About 70% find it really stupid.
This week’s discussion: Lost Ark has once again commented on the topic of Pay2Win. The developers promise a fair and good gaming experience. However, many players are also annoyed by the discussion, as they already do not consider Lost Ark to be Pay2Win.
WoW struggles with balance issues, FFXIV sets player record
This week, here’s what happened with the major MMORPGs:
- In addition to the discussion about Sylvanas, there is another problem with WoW. The popularity of the Horde in Burning Crusade Classic is now causing problems for both factions.
- During the night of July 10, initial insights into the upcoming DLC in ESO were provided.

- In Ashes of Creation, there will be an Alpha test this weekend without NDA, but not everyone is satisfied with the content shown .
- Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen has provided some new insights into the Pre-Alpha.
