From May 31 to June 6, there was a lot happening in the MMORPGs. Two new expansions were released, and two new games announced their release dates, while two others at least provided a release window. We at MeinMMO have summarized all the important news of the week.
The highlights of the week:
- Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will be released on June 9, which is next week
- Crowfall has announced July 6 as its release date
The developers of Swords of Legends also talked about the release. It is mentioned “a few weeks after Beta 2”. Bless Unleashed, on the other hand, has delayed its release somewhat. Additional optimizations are supposed to be completed in mid-July, and the release is still expected “in summer 2021” (via Steam).
What were other highlights?
- On June 1, the new expansion Blackwood was released for The Elder Scrolls Online
- The following day, WoW Classic received the new expansion Burning Crusade. There, the first players completed raids after just 24 hours

New dungeon for Black Desert, more events in Guild Wars 2

- WoW and ESO both released an expansion.
- Black Desert released a new video for the upcoming cooperative dungeon Atoraxxion (via YouTube).
- Guild Wars 2 made two new episodes of the Living World available for free, where an achievement is currently bugged (via Guildnews).

- Neverwinter has received its first new class in 5 years
