A Norwegian Fortnite professional from “Eleven Gaming” left his team after the Swiss Fortnite professional Issa shared a racist message from him. The two had been arguing about aim assist in Fortnite on Twitter – apparently, a personal conflict had been simmering for a while.
This is the backstory: The player Issa “Issa” Rahm from the clan “Ghost Gaming” is one of the best European players. He is the partner of the German Fortnite player Liam “Kamo” Fillery. Issa will also compete in the Fortnite World Cup in Solo.
Issa uploaded a video on Twitter on July 2 to demonstrate his skill with the controller in Fortnite. In the matches shown in the video, he competes without aim assist in Fortnite.
What is going on with aim assist? Many PC players accuse console players of only being good, because aim assist “handles everything” and then magically gets kills. Players only have to aim roughly in the direction of the opponent and then – magic – they rack up kills.
Issa himself says, under every one of his videos stands “l2” – a reference to the almighty aim assist.
Under the video tweet, a discussion arose:
- Some said, everyone knows that aim assist is way too strong – no one needs to try to tone that down
- Others said, it’s clear that aim assist isn’t that strong, no proof is needed
- Some praised Issa for his good aiming
- Others said, he plays with Xim
Until then, a normal day on Twitter.

This was the conflict: One player stood out. The Fortnite professional Erik “Bloodx” Guttormsen, a Norwegian, attacked Issa under the video: It’s so sad what has become of Issa. He really thinks Issa should stop talking to people on social media and deal with himself.
It is not really clear where this conflict stems from.
Bloodx said he had been under fire for three days after the incident until he finally gave up.
Ultimately, Bloodx and his team Eleven Gaming parted ways. Bloodx now says he will try to clear his name.
This is what lies behind it: Apparently, there is a shattered friendship behind it. Issa says he stood up for Bloodx, but was then disappointed by him and told him to stay out of his way.
Clearly, the confrontation over aim assist tipped the scales.
This is already concerning, how a screenshot can end a player’s career because they apparently had a problem with each other. Whether Issa really foresaw the consequences of this tweet seems questionable.
But the word lands like a bomb:
Issa then shared the screenshot of a Discord chat, in which E11 Bloodx used the racist slur starting with “N”. He himself called Bloodx a “Cunt”, also not a nice word.
What happened next: Bloodx said the screenshot was fake. He is not a racist. He has nothing against black people. He has been linked with a black woman and has a son.
According to Issa, he only posted the screen because Bloodx is one of the “most false people in the community”.
