Announcements and Games at gamescom 2021
What announcements are possible? So far, no specific game titles are known that will have new information. However, based on the crumbs scattered so far, some assumptions can be made about what you might expect:
- Starfield was quite brief at E3 – However, Xbox and Bethesda are on-site, so perhaps more will come here
- Thanks to Bethesda, fans of the popular series Fallout and The Elder Scrolls might also receive new content
- Ubisoft recently spoke about Assassin’s Creed Infinity and sparked a controversy – perhaps clarification and more information will come here
- Activision might tease or release information about the new Call of Duty – Here’s what we already know about CoD 2021
EA Play is running in front of gamescom 2021, which is already being prepared with Spotlights – among other things, with snippets from Battlefield 2042 and exciting indie themes. The big announcements from EA are probably already expected before the gamescom.
The theme is also “Games: The New Normality,” with which gamescom aims to raise awareness that gaming has now arrived in the center of society and is no longer a topic for “basement kids.”
When will there be more information? Over the coming days and weeks, confirmed information, leaks, and speculations will certainly continue to appear.
