He approached superstar Drake (36) on Instagram, even managed to get the rapper on the phone for a Facetime call – but when Drake complimented him, the situation went off the rails for the 18-year-old YouTube star.

Speed and Drake briefly chatted on Instagram when IShowSpeed decided to call the rapper live during a YouTube stream. Indeed, Drake picked up the phone.
Connected with Drake via Facetime, Speed was visibly ecstatic, hopping excitedly up and down in his chair. Drake was somewhere, mostly inaudible and not properly in the frame.
But for Speed, a dream seemed to come true: Drake even complimented him. He was proud of IShowSpeed. He simply does “his thing.”
He completely freaks out and starts barking. He then asks Drake whether he prefers Ronaldo or Messi. The 18-year-old becomes crazy with joy when Drake chooses Ronaldo – because the Portuguese football star is also his great idol.

How does the call take a turn? Drake compliments the young YouTuber: He feels a lot of love for IShowSpeed, recently spoke with Banks in the car about him. He is so proud of IShowSpeed.
The grins from ear to ear and tells the rapper what an incredibly sexy voice he has. How can it be so smooth?
In that moment, Drake hangs up and IShowSpeed has one of his fits. From being on cloud nine, his mood falls to “devastated.” He rages, jumps up, and beats on his chair again and again.
He is annoyed: That probably came across wrong, he didn’t mean “sexy,” but rather “smooth,” soft. How could he have sold it so badly: Now Drake will surely never pick up the phone again.
