The classic anime MMORPG Fiesta Online (PC) was released back in 2006 and is now receiving its biggest update yet, Realm of the Gods. It comes with a lot of content that is especially relevant for endgame players. We at MeinMMO summarize it for you.
What’s new? With the update Realm of the Gods, the biggest update of the 15-year-old game is released, bringing over 100 new quests in three completely new areas. In addition, each class and specialization gets their own new finisher.
The maximum level has also been raised from 135 to 140, accompanied by an event focusing on racing to the new maximum level. You can also experience a new story in the realms of the gods and must defend it against the minions of Pagel, the god of greed.
A sort of horde mode is also making its way into the game. In the new Corruption event, Pagel sends increasingly stronger waves of corrupted minions against you. If you manage to defeat all waves, you will have to face a corrupted boss. If successfully defeated, this boss will grant you reinforcements for your next adventures.
Furthermore, there have been adjustments in balancing, new weapons, and new armor for all classes.
The realms of the gods are corrupted
What are the new areas? The three new areas are the realms of the gods Teva, Cypian, and Apoline. You reach them via a portal on the island of Eya. Each of the three areas is divided into different zones and shares the theme of the god it belongs to.
This is the realm of Teva: The realm of Teva, the goddess of hope, is divided into three zones. In the heavenly gardens, you will find a new large city and must discover why the monsters in the area have been afflicted by corruption. In the second zone, the holy islands, you should move cautiously as the monsters along the river are even more dangerous.
The third area in the realm of Teva is the Temple of Hopelessness, which was once a meeting place for champions and is now overrun by monsters. It is meant to be accessible only to the strongest adventurers.
This is the realm of Cypian: The god of animals surrounds himself with nature and other creatures, as animals stand above all for him. His area is divided into two zones. In the Forest of Life, there was harmony between humans and animals until corruption set in and the forest became unhealthy. You must help Cypian defend the forest and save the spirituality of the animal spirits here.
The Grove of Whispering Woods is the second zone under the sign of the animal god. It is the most important place for the animal spirits and their spirituality, and many tales surround this place, which you can now visit for the first time.
This is the realm of Apoline: Apoline is the goddess of longing and despair. She wants to explore your wishes and dreams to bring you to despair. Her realm contains only one zone, namely the “Joy of Trials” where you cannot trust what you see, because often behind a nice facade lie only thorns and poisons.
