In a 12-hour stream, this streamer raised over €5,000 for charity on Twitch.TV. He tearfully tells his mother about this milestone.
What kind of stream was it? The 14-year-old streamer “averageharry” started a charity stream on August 19. The broadcast lasted 12 hours straight. He played games like Minecraft, Fortnite and mini golf while raising donations for charity.
The collected money will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital. A children’s hospital in England. The big Fortnite streamer Dr Lupo has also successfully raised money for sick children.
His viewers were generous during the stream and donated a lot of money. When he shows his mother the current total shortly before the end of the stream, he has already collected £4,288.92. At the current exchange rate, that’s about €4,700.
So emotional shows the streamer: A clip is going viral in the gaming community that shows the streamer in tears. He proudly tells his mother in the video how much money he has raised. “Four thousand, two hundred and eighty,” he says, hugging his mother.
“Mom, there are still 5 minutes. I have collected 4,300,” he says, as tears of joy roll down his face.

This YouTuber was visibly moved when he learned about his influence on Final Fantasy VII.
What is special about it? His donation goal in the stream was £5,000, but the streamer thought he could never reach it. As Dexerto reports, averageharry explained that the £5,000 “wasn’t really a goal”.
“I just put this down to see how much money…” comments the streamer, as he is interrupted by a £1,000 donation. He was visibly touched by this large donation and struggled to find the right words.
Did he reach the donation goal? Towards the end of the stream, the streamer said it wasn’t bad if the goal wasn’t reached. He was then interrupted again by a donation. This helped to achieve the goal.
“I raised £5,000,” he says, raising his hands above his head. By the end of the stream, it was about £5,200, which is approximately €5,680 that the streamer raised. An impressive sum.
