Twitch streamer Cody “Clix” Conrod (14) has already made quite a bit of money with Fortnite. With his high earnings, he has now purchased the best gaming setup that suits him. He proudly showcases it in a YouTube video.
What has the Fortnite professional done? The well-known Fortnite streamer Cody “Clix” Conrad has made a substantial amount of money with Fortnite. Just placing 18th in the Fortnite World Cup Solo brought in €112,500 for him.
With his high earnings, Clix has bought a gaming setup that is quite expensive. After many years of using a gaming setup that only met the basic requirements, he was finally able to afford an upgrade.

How did the costs arise? Although the Twitch streamer didn’t purchase the most expensive products, since he renewed his entire setup, various costs added up.
Especially the PC and the two monitors significantly increased the costs. In an interview with Whistle Sports, the Fortnite professional explains exactly how much his setup cost:

- 2 Monitors: Alienware 24.5” 240Hz Gaming Monitor – $350 each (total $700)
- Mouse: Ninja Finalmouse Air 58 – $89
- Keyboard: Matrix Elite Series 60% with Cherry MX Blues and Flamingo keys – $150 each (total $750)
- Headphones: Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro – $180
- Microphone: HyperX Quadcast – $110
- Camera (for streams): Logitech C920 – $110
- Stream Deck: Elgato Stream Deck – $150
- Mouse Bungee (aid for mouse cable): $25
- Gaming Glasses: $25
This results in a total amount of $6,639.
One of the best gaming setups
Although the setup might not look particularly impressive at first glance, it is one of the strongest setups available on the market. Clix managed to successfully combine style and performance.
Even though the Fortnite professional does not have one of the most expensive keyboards like Tfue, the upgrade should be worth it.
Where did the player get his money? Clix has earned about $260,000 in prize money in Fortnite (via esportsearnings).
On the platform Twitch, the Fortnite professional has established himself with 697,750 followers. He is therefore a significant figure in the Fortnite scene. Through Twitch, Clix also earns money as a content creator:
- He receives donations there
- earns money through ads or sponsorship deals
- Additionally, he earns money through subscriptions. A Twitch subscription costs at least $4.99 per month, of which the streamer receives at least half
- as a content creator for Fortnite, Clix also benefits from “creator code”. When his fans spend money in Fortnite, he receives a portion of it if they support him
With all these earnings, the young Fortnite streamer was able to afford a proper gaming setup.
