This is Redfall: Redfall is the new game from Arkane Austin, the creators of games like Prey or Dishonored. However, it will only release for Xbox consoles and PC, but is included in the Game Pass from day one.
You find yourself on the eponymous island of Redfall, cut off from the rest of the world. But you are not alone: a horde of bloodthirsty vampires swarms the island and wants to get you.
In this first-person shooter, it’s about standing up to the vampires while also figuring out what is behind the appearance of the bloodsuckers and the island itself.
You move through an open world, can pick up various weapons, and improve your abilities by leveling up.

How does the co-op look? You can play the game either alone or with up to three players in online co-op. However, only the host of a session makes progress in the story. Other players may at least keep items and achievements like level-ups.
What do we expect?
- First-person shooter in an open world

When can you play? The co-op shooter is set to release on May 2, 2023, currently only for Xbox Series X|S and PC. It will be included in the Game Pass from day one. You should not expect it for PS5 by the current status.
7. Endless Dungeon

What is Endless Dungeon? Endless Dungeon places you on an abandoned space station. It is overrun by a horde of monsters that want to get your crystal bot. Your task is now to defend this crystal.
The game aims to combine roguelite elements and tower defense. You face waves of monsters that keep breaking in and try to push them back.
For this, you use an arsenal of various weapons, rely on different heroes, and strategically place turrets to withstand the waves. If you die, you will be transported back to the “saloon” – from there you start again on the station every time.
How do you play together? You either go into battle alone or in a team of up to three players in online mode.
What do we expect?
- Action-packed but strategic gameplay
- Numerous deaths that make you stronger
- Different heroes, abilities, turrets, and weapons
When can you play? Endless Dungeon is set to release on May 18, 2023.
8. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

What kind of game is this? In “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,” it’s about the eponymous team, consisting of well-known DC villains. Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark have been sent by Amanda Waller to take out the now-evil Justice League – namely people like Superman, Flash, and Batman. Wonder Woman seems to be supporting you in the meantime.
The story of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League also takes you to Metropolis, Superman’s hometown, which you can explore freely in an open world. Playable are the four characters of the Suicide Squad, each bringing unique weapons and abilities to tackle your enemies with.
Rocksteady Studios has also been responsible for the popular Arkham games around Batman. Originally, Suicide Squad was set to release in 2022 – now it should be so in 2023.
How do you play together? The game can be played solo but can also be challenged in online co-op.

9. Diablo 4

This is Diablo 4: The Diablo series is generally well-known. For newcomers: In Diablo 4, it’s an action RPG in a dark world where you must confront hordes of demons.
Played from above, in an isometric perspective, you take on one of five selectable classes at release and embark on a journey to unlock better equipment and stronger abilities. “Looting and leveling” is the motto.
How does the co-op look? Basically, all content in Diablo 4 can be played cooperatively. You can form a group of up to four heroes with whom you can master the story and other challenges of Diablo 4. This applies at least to online co-op.
But you will also be able to play together on the couch in local co-op. There you can only go demon hunting with up to two.
Aside from that, Diablo 4 features an open world that you share with other players – even strangers who join online. However, you won’t have to fear sudden attacks as PvP is only possible in certain areas.
