WoW Classic – The Burning Crusade
What is WoW Classic? This MMORPG is a remake of WoW as it was released in 2004. Fans had long requested such a version, as there wasn’t a dungeon finder back then, and everything was “harder and more demanding”.
In Classic, you can currently level a character up to level 60, visit old raids like Naxxramas or Molten Core, and relive the feeling of the past.
What is happening in 2021 with WoW Classic? On June 2, the new expansion Burning Crusade Classic was released.
The expansion takes you to the Outlands and pits you against the demon hunter Illidan. Additionally, the first new races will be implemented, and both factions gain access to the Paladin and Shaman classes.
A highlight will also be the flying mounts and later raids in Sunwell Plateau. These are also supposed to appear as the “uncut version”. However, there are a few adjustments compared to the release in 2006.
Who is this interesting for? Fans of Classic and TBC can look forward to continuing the journey with the game. However, anyone who wants to stay in Classic can do so.
At the start, you can decide whether your character remains in the old world or storms to Outlands in the future.
This Could Still Happen in 2021
In addition to the games and expansions presented that have already been confirmed for 2021, there are also other contents that could potentially occur:
- The MMORPG Blue Protocol is set to launch in Japan in 2021 and will later appear globally. When it will come to us is currently unknown. A 2021 release is theoretically possible.
- Diablo Immortal sounds like a real highlight and is even supposed to become a kind of Diablo MMO. No release date has been announced yet. Recently, however, alpha tests were conducted that were allowed to be streamed openly. It’s likely that Blizzard will announce a release date in February.
- The MMORPG Corepunk could theoretically still celebrate its release in 2021. What is certain is that the beta will start in spring 2021.
- Virtuaverse is expected to be released on Steam by the end of 2021. This is an MMORPG where you can earn real money.
