What is Guild Wars 2? Guild Wars 2 is an MMORPG by the American developer ArenaNet, released in 2012 and continuously updated since then. It is mainly aimed at “casual gamers” who like to explore the world, defeat bosses together with other players, and experience a hero’s story.
The special feature of GW2 is that the level cap has remained constant. Since release, players can only reach level 80. The gear score has not increased since 2012. What players earned back then is still relevant and useful today.

End of Dragons is expected to be released in the second half of the year and will lead players to Cantha, an Asian continent in the game. This was already known from the predecessor Guild Wars 1. Although the name suggests otherwise, End of Dragons is not intended to be the finale of the MMORPG.
Who is this interesting for? Guild Wars 2 has not received an expansion since 2017. All veterans of the game have a reason to reinvest in the game. Furthermore, the expansion with the continent Cantha is clearly aimed at fans of Guild Wars 1, who can rediscover old areas.
End of Dragons also presents a good time to finally start playing Guild Wars 2. A new expansion comes with a level boost so that you can theoretically start directly in the new content with all other players. Elyon
What is Elyon? Elyon transports you to a steampunk world where you complete quests, defeat world bosses, and explore dungeons, but PvP is the main focus.
You participate in huge 100v100v100 battles where siege weapons and airships play a role. You can use mechs, but also rely on magic.
Elyon stands out especially for its action-packed combat system. With runes, artifacts, and other equipment, you are expected to have many options to support your playstyle.
What is happening in 2021 with Elyon? Elyon was released in Korea on December 10, 2020. The release in the West is planned for Q4 2021. Publishing will be handled by Kakao Games, which has been responsible for Black Desert for many years.
