This is Babylon’s Fall: In Babylon’s Fall, you experience hardcore action battles with various weapons and ways to combine them. The new game from Platinum Games, who have worked on NieR Automata among others, could become a feast for co-op fans.
However, the game has already been torn apart by the community for its live-service approach.
The grind for always better equipment is at the center of the gameplay loop. To obtain this equipment and new weapons, you fight your way through linear areas from a hub area, beating masses of different enemies.
The setting is a mix of sci-fi and fantasy, and especially the weapons floating behind your back can quickly be confusing. Nevertheless, the fights and the loot loop make sense, even if they are very complicated at first. Whether the game can captivate in the long run is still unclear.
This is how co-op works: Babylon’s Fall puts the co-op element of the game in the spotlight, so you won’t need to enable a separate mode here.
You can choose to play alone or with up to three friends, diving into levels from the hub area to acquire better equipment. You can combine your abilities together to improve your skills.
You can play the game alone as well and choose whether to go completely solo or receive NPC companions. However, Babylon’s Fall is not designed for that and significantly increases the difficulty.
What do we expect? Some people have already had the chance to play Babylon’s Fall and talk about it. Therefore, our expectations are quite clear.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

This is Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is the latest installment in the Borderlands universe. The titular Tiny Tina is well-known and so beloved that she’s getting her own game.
Nonetheless, Wonderlands remains true to some of the virtues of Borderlands. The crazy humor and the graphic style are quickly recognizable and make you feel right at home.
In the game, you can create your own hero and choose from several classes. Whether you prefer to fight melee, with heavy weapons, or with magic against hordes of enemies, Wonderlands has the right toys for you. You will explore an open world, which is unlike anything you are used to.
Gameplay-wise, you will be constantly on the hunt for newer and better equipment with even crazier effects than the previous ones, similar to what you are used to from Borderlands. You’ll get more from Tiny Tina and more from Borderlands, but thanks to the sorceress, you’ll also get a unique spin.
This is how co-op works: As you are already used to from Borderlands, the story campaign and the open world are available to you and up to three friends, waiting to be explored together.
You’ll compete for the best loot and carve your way through enemies just waiting to face you. As you know from Borderlands, the co-op mode of Wonderlands should be the hidden highlight of the game.
What do we expect? Even more of what fans have loved since Borderlands 2: Tiny Tina.

However, we can assume that crossplay will behave similarly to its spiritual predecessor, Borderlands 3. Here, all consoles were able to play together except for PlayStation.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

This is Darktide: Darktide is the unofficial sequel to Warhammer 40k Vermintide 2. Again, it’s time for slaughter, and the Warhammer universe serves as the backdrop, but not in a fantasy medieval setting, but in a dystopian future.
The game takes place in the city of Tertium on the planet Atoma Prime, where chaos unfortunately has spread, and it’s up to you to fight it. You and your team of imperial guards will shoot your way through.
Together, you will defeat waves of computer-controlled enemies and kill them to obtain new loot, with which you can upgrade your character. Similar to the unofficial predecessor, there are also different characters with different abilities.
In combat, you’ll bring not only powerful guns with you but also engage in melee attacks, as melee combat will comprise roughly half of the combat system, keeping you right in the action.
This is how co-op works: The co-op works in Darktide just like the game itself. The loot shooter/slayer is focused on collaborating with your friends, and that’s where its greatest strength lies.
You can also play the title alone, but you’ll get NPC companions. So you’re still not truly alone. Together with your friends, the game is definitely more fun.
What do we expect? You can generally expect an improved Vermintide 2 in a new setting.

The developers have also not provided any information about crossplay functionality. The two unofficial predecessors, Vermintide 1 and 2, did not have crossplay support, either.
