In Pokémon GO there are the so-called Curios Eggs, which bring you some exclusive Pokémon as well as the rare monster Kapuno. We at MeinMMO will tell you the chances of getting them.
These are Curios Eggs: These are 12 km eggs that you can only obtain by challenging and defeating the Rocket bosses Arlo, Sierra, Cliff, and Giovanni. If you have an egg slot free, you will get the Curios Egg.
Now the question arises whether these eggs are worth it at all and how rare the Pokémon from them are. We have taken a closer look at the contents of the 12 km eggs and show you what to expect.
All Pokémon from the Curios Eggs
These Pokémon are in the Curios Eggs: In total, there are 10 Pokémon that you can find in the eggs:
- Larvitar
- Algitt
- Pionskora
- Absol
- Zurrokex
- Kapuno
- Iscalar
- Gladiantri
- Skallyk
- Ganovil
- Pam-Pam
What are the probabilities? As usual in Pokémon GO, the Pokémon are of varying rarity in the eggs. While you may find some Pokémon more frequently in the eggs, other monsters are rather unusual. But it also depends on your luck.
We show you the three groups of rarities that Niantic also displays:

It can be concluded: Especially Kapuno, Absol, Pionskora, Algitt, and Iscalar are therefore very rare in the 12 km eggs.
While Ganovil used to be one of the rarest monsters from these eggs, according to the current overview from Niantic it is now supposed to occur a bit more often. Skallyk, on the other hand, remains one of the more common Pokémon in the 12 km eggs.
