A Kickstarter campaign is supposed to help him develop his own GTA. This 12-year-old game developer has big goals!
The dream of his own GTA belongs to this 12-year-old game developer from England. To realize this dream, he has already started developing a game called “The Country“. However, he still lacks funds to continue working on the game and later release it on Steam. He is relying on the Kickstarter website and hopes for supporters for his project.
Similar gameplay to GTA
He has already uploaded the first screenshots so that supporters can get a rough idea of the project. Although, there is not much more than hills, green landscape, and a house visible in the pictures. He envisions the gameplay of The Country to be similar to that of GTA “… with shooting and surviving and so on …”. Since the game is not yet finished, he hopes for supporters on Kickstarter for his game.
Apparently, many people like the idea of the 12-year-old, as 23 people have already participated in the financing of the project and have exceeded the original funding goal of 90 pounds. Currently, it stands at 224 pounds.
When asked why he wants to be a game developer, he says: “I think I could be a successful game developer because I already know about coding, even though I am only 12 years old.”
An update on his Kickstarter page shows how excited he is about reaching the 90 pounds goal:
“I have reached my goal. Folks, I never thought that my dream would come true. Thank you to each of you who supported me and made my dream come true. I thank you so much! :’)”
