Exotic armors for the Dawnblade Warlock
The Claws of Ahamkara: Through the ability “Whisper,” the gloves Claws of Ahamkara grant you a second melee charge. From the Season of Dawn, Warlocks with “Celestial Fire” will have a brand new melee attack available.
Celestial Fire: This melee attack launches a spiral of 3 explosive Solar projectiles. This ability resembles a classic fire mage from other games like Diablo. Having two of these fiery surprises at hand should be a significant advantage.
The Solar Gauntlets: The gloves Solar Gauntlets come with the exotic ability “Helium Spirals.” This grants unlimited Solar grenade energy for a short time from Solar melee hits. Additionally, the duration of Solar grenades is increased.
Thanks to the new ability “Heat Wave,” you can consume your grenade to increase glide time and drastically reduce penalties for weapons in the air. This way, you can combat enemies with the full power of aerial dominance.
The new “Distance Melee” of the Solar Warlock will give you temporarily unlimited grenades to consume. And you will become a bomber. What the Solar Gauntlets are already capable of, you can read here:
The Starfire Protocol: The chest armor Starfire Protocol comes with the perk “Fusion Armor.” This grants you an extra charge of fusion grenades that charge from empowered weapon damage. Additionally, kills with fusion grenades generate Rift energy.
Currently, Void grenades are shining especially, as they benefit from powerful artifact mods. Atzecross believes that the next seasonal artifact could enhance Solar grenades. If this is true, the fusion grenades of the Solar Warlock could become significantly more dangerous.
The Wings of Sacred Dawn: As a unique perk, the chest armor Wings of Sacred Dawn comes with “Dawn’s Folio.” This grants you the ability to hover in place in the air while aiming with the weapon when equipped with the Dawnblade.
With the next update, you will additionally receive 15% damage resistance when the exotic perk Dawn’s Folio is active. With a focus on aerial combat, this Exotic should best support the new Solar Warlock.
