February in Pokémon GO is going to be really strong. Because you shouldn’t miss 12 Pokémon – they are among the best.
What’s happening in Pokémon GO? A lot, because February has a lot of events to offer that bring some of the top Pokémon in the game. The month is packed with legendary Pokémon – and not just any.
Because this month, several of the best legendaries can be caught in the game. Additionally, there are two real highlights in the Mega Evolutions.

What makes these Pokémon special? There is something for both raid fighters and in PvP. Below we summarize where you can best use the monsters.
5 Pokémon that are very strong in raids
- Mega Tyranitar is one of the best Mega Evolutions overall. It is unbeatable as a Dark attacker, and it also impresses as a Rock attacker.
- It is in Mega Raids from February 6 – 17.
- Mega Salamence also has a lot to offer as a raid attacker, both as a Ground and Dragon type.
- You will find it in Mega Raids from February 17 to March 4.
- Terrakion is one of the best Fighting attackers in raids overall. Additionally, it is a strong counter against Chansey and Blissey, which like to sit in gyms.
- It is in raids on February 25, and on that day it also has a raid hour alongside Virizion and Kobalion.
- Voltolos in the Incarnate form is one of the best Electric attackers in raids.
- You will find it in raids on February 26, and it also has a raid hour with Thundurus and Demeteros.
- The unbound Hoopa is a powerful Psychic raid attacker and has been very limited in availability until now.

4 Pokémon that are very strong in PvP
- Yveltal is one of the top monsters in the Master League, and also a decent attacker for raids.
- It is in raids from February 17 to 24, on February 19 it has a raid hour with Xerneas.
- Xerneas is very strong in PvP, especially because of its move Geomancy, which provides energy very quickly,
- It appears simultaneously with Yveltal.
- Kobalion is very strong in the Ultra League, it is one of the best fighters in the Great League.
- It will appear in raids on February 25, together with Terrakion and Virizion. It also has its raid hour on that day.
- Dialga is very good in PvP, especially in the Master League. Additionally, you can secure Dialga candies during a catch, which you can also use with your Origin Dialga if you have one.
- Dialga is still in raids until February 6. On February 5, it has a raid hour.

- Demeteros in the Incarnate form is one of the absolute best Pokémon in the Master League. Additionally, it is a very good Ground attacker.
- Demeteros appears on February 26 together with Thundurus and Voltolos in raids, also has its raid hour then.
- Reshiram is an absolutely powerful Fire attacker, and is also very useful in the Master League.
