In Pokémon GO, not all monsters can actually be caught in the wild. However, there are reports that some Pokémon that did not appear in the wild are now appearing.
What kind of Pokémon are these? These are only Pokémon from Generation 3. The first two generations also have rare final evolutions in the wild, such as Dragonite or Tyranitar. Gen 3 did not have this until now.
In general, the monsters are only final evolutions. While they remain extremely rare, they now appear in the wild.
Now keep an eye out for 11 rare Pokémon
This is the list: On reddit, diligent trainers have compiled their findings. These Pokémon are now definitely in the wild:
- Sceptile
- Blaziken
- Swampert
- Aggron
- Salamence
- Slaking
- Registeel
- Shiftry
- Flygon
- Crawdaunt
- Electivire

There are already pictures of all these Pokémon showing them in the wild. So one can be sure that they can also be found.
Which Pokémon from Gen 3 are missing? Some Pokémon have not been sighted yet. They are either extremely rare, or they still do not appear in the wild. These include:
- Roselia
- Ralts
- Gardevoir
- Wailord
- Altaria
- Milotic
- Walrein
- Metagross

How rare are the Pokémon? Just because the monsters are now in the wild does not mean that they are easy to find. They are mostly strong Pokémon, so their spawn rate is also low.
Pokémon like Dragonite or Gyarados are also not found every day, and a similar rarity seems to apply to the Pokémon from Generation 3.
Why is Niantic doing this now? One can only speculate about that. They did not want players to catch every Pokémon with the help of a map at the release of Generation 3 and did not allow some Pokémon to appear in the wild.
Now Gen 3 has been in the game for a long time and the PokéDex should be full for most players. It is quite possible that Niantic is now allowing the monsters to spawn because they already have a large portion of the players.
