1. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966)
The three characters from the original title Il Buono, il brutto, il cattivo and the English translation The Good, the Bad and the Ugly were apparently one too many for the German version, which only refers to “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
The film is a spaghetti western in which three characters team up to find a money chest worth 200,000 dollars. However, each of them wants to get the entire money for themselves.
2. Baymax – Big Hero 6 (2015)
From the simple Big Hero 6, a title with a special wordplay is created in German: Baymax – Big Hero 6.
The film is about the friendship between the boy Hiro Hamada and the inflatable robot Baymax, whose task it is to help its owner when he is not feeling well. Together with Hiro’s friends, they must form a group of heroes to save their hometown.
