We wanted to know which 5-star characters from Genshin Impact you most wish to see return. Based on your votes, MeinMMO created a ranking.
What was the occasion for the survey? 5-star characters are what most players save for and have their eyes on in Genshin Impact. In random banners (Gacha banners), individual heroes can be pulled for a short time before they disappear for several months.
Thus, one often has to wait a long time until the beloved character announces their return. We wanted to know which 5-star character you are eagerly waiting for and want to see in a Gacha banner.
Here are your answers: A total of 2,566 MeinMMO readers participated in the survey, and each of you had three votes. In total, there were 4,781 individual votes.
We will list all characters based on this ranking – from least to most desired. Along the way, we’ll provide you with some info about the characters, their abilities, and which tier they occupy on our Genshin Impact Tier List, so you can get a rough idea of their strength.
Rank 11: Tartaglia
With 1.76% (84 votes), Tartaglia takes the last place among you. Not surprising, as he was the only 5-star character to receive 2 reruns so far. He was last available in the character wish in patch 2.2.
Who is Tartaglia? Tartaglia, also known as Childe, is the 11th and youngest of the Fatui Harbingers. He constantly seeks the battlefield and is always open to wild, bloody fights. However, he hides this trait behind a false friendly smile. Childe disguises himself as a gentle toy seller in Liyue for his little brother.
The Fatui Harbinger is a strong main DPS when he has a suitable team around him. He is placed in our ranking in the S-tier.

Rank 10: Kokomi Sangonomiya
The sweet Kokomi only managed to reach 10th place with 2.2% (105 votes). Not many were enthusiastic about her during her banner time, as she brings a unique kit. Even her voice actress was bullied for how unpopular Kokomi was.
However, she has now established herself as a solid Hydro applicator and healer in Genshin Impact. Kokomi owners are even happier now, as with Patch 2.3 a new artifact set is coming that will enhance her even further.
Who is Kokomi Sangonomiya? Kokomi is the ruler and priestess of Watatsumi Island in Inazuma. She leads her own army against that of Sara Kujou. The healer is well-versed in military strategies and is always looking for new tactics in Yae Miko’s books.
Kokomi Sangonomiya is a reliable healer who can also apply the Hydro element to enemies, even when she is not actively on the field. She is in our tier list in the A-tier.

Rank 9: Yoimiya
Rank number 9 is taken by archer Yoimiya with 3.85% (184 votes). She was among the first new characters in Inazuma and was considered a weak Pyro main DPS. However, it later turned out that she is not as useless as many claimed.
Some players regret not having pulled for her.
Who is Yoimiya? Yoimiya is the firework master from Inazuma. She is well known there for her spectacular fireworks that leave everyone in the region in awe. She easily makes social connections and has no trouble making small talk.
Yoimiya deals significant Pyro damage with her abilities and is in our tier list in the S-tier.

Rank 8: Klee
The bomber girl Klee catapults herself to 8th place on this list with 4.48% (214 votes). The little Pyro user already received 2 Gacha banners. The first of them took place on October 20, 2020, making her one of the first characters to receive a character wish.
Klee may not withstand many hits, but she can deal significant damage to enemies. She looks cute but has a wicked side.
Who is Klee? Klee is known to be a little chaotic. Some in Mondstadt have had to keep an eye on her, but she always manages to escape and create chaos with her bombs. Jean regularly gives her house arrest, which Klee reluctantly accepts.
Klee is a strong main DPS, dealing high damage mostly through normal attacks and powerful strikes. In our tier list, she is in the S-tier.

Rank 7: Ayaka Kamisato
Ayaka Kamisato was the first character after the new Inazuma region was released. Many saved specifically for the elegant fighter, and she is ranked 7th with 6.5% (311 votes).
Her constellations significantly enhance Ayaka and expand her immense damage potential. With her powerful special ability, she leaves no opponents alive.
Who is Ayaka Kamisato? Ayaka is the eldest daughter of the Kamisato clan and the sister of Ayato Kamisato. She is regarded as the perfect, noble, and graceful representative of the Kamisato clan, and no one can say a bad word about her. However, Ayaka Kamisato also wants to lead a normal life from time to time.
Ayaka is a reliable and very strong Cryo main DPS, who is in the S-tier of our tier list.

Rank 6: Raiden Shogun
Although Ei, also known as Raiden Shogun, has only had a character wish in September so far, you chose her for 6th place with 8.64% (413 votes). Especially her 2nd constellation allows Ei to deal even more damage. Thus, it’s not surprising that you want to see her again soon to unlock new constellations.
Who is Raiden Shogun? The all-powerful Raiden Shogun is the ruler of Inazuma and the Electro Archon. She believes in eternity and wants to keep everything in the same working order forever. Raiden commands the army in Inazuma, which shares her view of eternity and steals the divine eyes from people to take away their powers that could bring imbalance to eternity.
Raiden Shogun is an excellent Sub-DPS due to her elemental and special abilities and thus is positioned in the SS-tier of our tier list.
