Crossplay Multiplayer
Hunters can play with friends on other platforms! One more significant difference between Monster Hunter Wilds and World is that the game not only releases simultaneously on all available platforms, but you can also play together right at launch.
This way you can gather in shared lobbies with up to 100 hunters and go on hunts with up to 3 friends in a group. You can find all in-depth information about multiplayer here: Monster Hunter Wilds: Crossplay, Multiplayer, and Coop – Here’s how you can play with your friends
Mobile Item Collecting
Were you annoyed in Monster Hunter World that you had to walk to all the items and resources you wanted to collect? Then Monster Hunter Wilds has a new feature that might make you happy.
In Wilds, you can conveniently collect items on the go either on foot or from the back of your Saikrii with a grappling hook, seamlessly while moving. This way, you are mobile and can even gather useful items during your pursuit of a monster.
Talking Palicos
While your feline companions in Monster Hunter World and all previous titles could only meow, in Monster Hunter Wilds they speak the human language. And it’s fully voiced! Your favorite cat will have its own voice.
If you don’t like that, you can also revert to the classic “cat version” and let your companion meow as before.
A similarly significant leap is made in the storytelling of Monster Hunter Wilds. Monster Hunter World had already made an effort to present the story in a more cinematic manner, and Wilds takes it a step further. You will be accompanied by a whole team of different characters while your hunter explores the Forbidden Lands, fully voiced for the first time.
