Place 3: Anakin Skywalker
This placement may be controversially low, after all, Anakin is the Chosen One. One of the most powerful Force-sensitive individuals, who believed early on that he was stronger than his master Obi-Wan.
And here lies Anakin’s great weakness: Although his abilities and sheer talent in the Force are very pronounced, and although he is also an excellent lightsaber fighter, his full potential was never realized.
Anakin was seduced by the dark side, which promised him even greater power. He pursued selfish goals, showed weakness at a critical moment, and abandoned the Jedi as well as the Republic. He became Darth Vader, who was always under the control of Darth Sidious and never became as powerful as Anakin could have been.
In a fictional duel between Vader and Anakin, the dark lord would surely have gotten shaky knees. Anakin’s potential was huge, but his personal attitude went against the ethos of the Jedi. Had he remained loyal to them, he would have likely become the most powerful among them.
