Valve’s online shooter Team Fortress 2 offers plenty of fun in diverse maps and fast-paced multiplayer battles. But only for adults. In this country, the game received an age rating of “18 and older” – and is even cut.

Now one might wonder why. Because the game actually features very colorful comic graphics that are not realistic but exaggerated, much like a cartoon. In the original version, body parts fly through the air and blood splatters by the liter. Through a ragdoll effect, killed enemies can still be shot at, and enemies hit by a flamethrower scream until they “die”. Even without the blood, this earned the USK a rating of “18 and older”.
