In Destiny 2 the Guardians prove that there are excellent cosplayers among them. Here are 10 particularly impressive cosplay costumes.
What are cosplayers actually? These are fans who enjoy dressing up as their favorite characters from video games. Some do it just for fun, others for fame or profit.
Some cosplayers have a special talent for creating extremely detailed costumes, which they often spend a long time working on. For fans of the respective game, it is often impressive to see how much effort has gone into the cosplay and how faithfully the work has been accomplished.
For Destiny 2, there have been cool cosplays to view for years. The Gamerant page has now put together 10 particularly beautiful examples that look as if they have sprung right from the game. We show them to you here:
Guardian with Gjallarhorn
Who created the cosplay? By armoredheartcosplay
What can be seen? The young lady is dressed as a Guardian in Iron Banner armor. In her hand, she holds the exotic rocket launcher Gjallarhorn from Destiny 1 – more specifically the Iron Gjallarhorn. The weapon is intricately designed, and the winged wolf’s head is clearly visible.
Cayde-6 with Dog
Who created the cosplay? By mhepepe. This user at least shared the image. We do not know who is behind the mask.
What can be seen? There are several cosplays of Cayde-6 easily found online, but this one is particularly well done. The armor and the mask are full of details, the eyes even glow. Additionally, he carries a small dog in his arms – because at the beginning of Destiny 2 it was a running gag to “fight for the puppies”.
Some Guardians are upset with him in the comments for not holding a chicken in his hand.
Uldren Sov
Who created the cosplay? By mukichmassla
What can be seen? The villain Uldren Sov, who killed Cayde-6 in Forsaken, is fantastically portrayed here. Not only the clothing and blue skin color are well replicated, but also the facial expressions and gestures are reminiscent of Uldren.
Titan
Who created the cosplay? By No Heroes Cosplay
What can be seen? The cosplayer presents himself as a Titan holding a weapon in his hand. The armor fits perfectly and, despite the rather simple design, it is full of details.
Dominus Ghaul
Who created the cosplay? By Aegis Studios Cosplay
What can be seen? The leader of the Cabal and the first big enemy in Destiny 2 is excellently portrayed here as “Real-Life Ghaul”. The costume is said to have taken about a month and a half to complete. It was definitely worth it. The armor and skull design are impressive.
Guardian Team Cosplay
Who created the cosplay? The photo was shared by Sasha Galvan.
What can be seen? This time there are 3 cosplayers in the photo, showing Guardians in full gear along with two beautiful weapons. This is how hardcore fans probably dress when they form a strike team in Destiny 2.
Titan with Buck
Who created the cosplay? The image was shared by jedi_ellis, who is on the left in the picture.
What can be seen? This duo cosplay features Buck from Halo 3: ODST and a Titan from Destiny 2. It is undoubtedly this armor that has been faithfully recreated:
Enemies in Destiny
Here are some enemies that appear as cosplay in the real world:
This is a Fallen Captain by shadinski_cosplay.
Here you see a Fallen Soldier from Spider. The cosplay is by SpartanJenzii.
And this is a Vex Goblin by Bill Doran.
Actually, the Vex invasions with Season 8 are supposed to happen in October, but this Vex Goblin has already fallen upon our world earlier.
What do you think of these cosplays?
