5. Squirrel Girl (Doreen Green)
First appearance of the character: Marvel Super Heroes Nr. 8 (January 1992)
Squirrel Girl is one of the silliest characters in the Marvel Universe. Although she has only
the abilities of a squirrel, the mutant even managed to defeat Thanos. Her great power
was even pushed to the extreme in The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Beats Up The Marvel Universe (October 2016).
In the comic, she has to fight against a clone of herself, who seemingly has defeated the entire Marvel Universe. The real Squirrel Girl had her problems, but her sidekick squirrel brought Mjölnir to her.
While her clone was not worthy, the real version grabbed the hammer and managed to win the fight. Truly one of Marvel’s greatest heroes.
