Those who know Moon Knight may immediately doubt that the brutal and somewhat insane anti-hero could be worthy enough to lift Mjölnir. In Avengers Nr. 33 (May 2020), the Age of Konshu
(the god behind his power) begins, in which Moon Knight confronts the Avengers.
In this process, he gets into a confrontation with Thor. In this, Moon Knight is able to stop Thor’s hammer and even use it effortlessly against Thor. Moon Knight tells the God of Thunder that the hammer is made of Uru
.
The material is as old as the universe
itself and is essentially moonstone. Since Moon Knight possesses the powers of the Egyptian moon god Konshu, he can wield and control the hammer without any issues. It also shows that Thor is significantly less menacing without his hammer.
