9. Vision
First appearance: Avengers Nr. 57 (October 1968)
In the MCU films, Vision is created by Ultron. He wanted a more powerful body, reinforced by vibranium. The Avengers managed to obtain the body, and J.A.R.V.I.S., Tony Stark’s AI, was transferred into his body.
His life, his consciousness, and his power also come from the Mind Stone, one of the most powerful objects in the MCU. In his debut film, Avengers: Age of Ultron, he helps the heroes defeat his creator.
In the film, Vision also lifts Thor’s hammer multiple times. Once in a scene in the Avengers Tower, and once in the fight against Ultron in Sokovia. Whether Vision is really worthy
here or if he has the power to lift the hammer due to the Mind Stone is unclear.
