In FIFA 20 we present 10 well-known players who had excellent ratings in FIFA 19 but are no longer in the top 100 in FUT 20.

What we know about the top 100 in FIFA 20: On September 6, EA Sports revealed the 100 officially best players in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team. However, not as the fans had hoped. They only named the 100 players and showed “empty” cards of them – the developers are still keeping their ratings a secret.
The ratings of the top 100 are expected to be announced on Monday, September 9.
After the top 100 were presented, some fans were surprised. A number of big stars who had outstanding ratings in recent years are missing from the list of the best players in FIFA 20. We will show you 10 well-known stars who are missing.
Naldo (Monaco)
Naldo was so strong in FIFA 19: Although Naldo is approaching 37 years old, the center-back, who played for Bremen, Wolfsburg, and Schalke, had strong ratings in FIFA in recent years. In FIFA 19 he had a solid 86 rating. This placed him at 73 in the top 100.
How strong will he be in FIFA 20? Naldo is now playing for AS Monaco. According to predictions from the community (via futwiz), he could appear there with a solid 83 overall rating in FIFA 20. That’s not enough for the top 100 anymore.
Jerome Boateng – FC Bayern
He was strong in FIFA 19: The Bayern defender was ranked 68th among the best players in FIFA 19. He had a rating of 86 and impressed with high pace and strong physical and defensive values. He was among the best defenders in the game.
How strong will he be in FIFA 20? According to predictions from the community, Boateng will receive a rating around 84 after a weak last season. He remains a good center-back, but he didn’t make it into the top 100.

Mesut Özil (Arsenal)
He was strong in FIFA 19: Mesut Özil was ranked 61st in FIFA 19. With a rating of 86, he was a solid CAM and served as a playmaker for many teams. He had high values in passing and dribbling.
How strong will he be in FIFA 20: According to community predictions, Özil will fall by 2 points in rating like Boateng. An overall rating around 84 is no longer sufficient for the top 100 in FIFA 20.
Ivan Perisic (FC Bayern)
He was strong in FIFA 19: Perisic landed in a strong 59th place in FIFA 19. The left mid from Inter Milan earned an excellent reputation thanks to his versatility and also impressed with the Croatian national team at the World Cup. He had generally good values for an offensive player in FIFA 19.
How strong will he be in FIFA 20? In the Bayern jersey, he is predicted by the community to appear with an 85 rating. So he probably just missed the top 100.
Alexis Sanchez (Inter Milan)
He was strong in FIFA 19: Sanchez was a strong left forward in FIFA 19 with a total rating of 87. He ranked 56th in the top 100. With outstanding dribbling of 89, he tied his opponents in knots.
How strong will he be in FIFA 20? That Sanchez is missing from the top 100 in FIFA 20 is no surprise. He had a terrible performance at Manchester United last season. Therefore, the futwiz community predicts that he will fall to a rating of 84 or even 83. And he no longer deserves a place in the top 100.
Andres Iniesta (Vissel Kobe)
He was strong in FIFA 19: Iniesta was for a long time an absolute top player at Barcelona and for the Spanish national team. Therefore, he also had powerful values in FIFA. Since 2018, he has been playing for the Japanese club Vissel Kobe. In FIFA 19, he still had a solid 87 rating. This was 50th place in the top 100.
How strong will he be in FIFA 20? Iniesta is now 35 years old – and with increased age, ratings in FIFA usually decline. However, the community still trusts him with a solid 85.
Marek Hamsik (Dalian Yifang)
He was strong in FIFA 19: Before his transfer to the Chinese club Dalian Yifang, Hamsik played long at SSC Napoli. And he did it really well. The central midfielder received a rating of 87 in FIFA 19. This meant 46th place.
How strong will he be in FIFA 20? According to predictions, Hamsik should still remain a strong midfielder with a rating of 85. He likely just missed the top 100.
Gonzalo Higuain (Juventus / Chelsea)
He was strong in FIFA 19: With an impressive rating of 88, Higuain took the 38th place among the best players in FIFA 19. Thanks to an extremely high shot value, he scored many goals.
How strong will he be in FIFA 20? The community expects a rating of 86 or 85. If he had an 86 rating in FIFA 20, he would likely be in the top 100. So his overall rating will likely be lower.
Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus)
He was strong in FIFA 19: Buffon is now 41 years old, but EA Sports recently gave him strong ratings despite his age. In FIFA 19, he had an 88 rating – which meant 35th place. Although his reflexes were not as high anymore, his diving and positioning were still great.
How strong will he be in FIFA 20? Buffon also falls out of the top 100 and loses several places. The community expects him to have a rating of 85 or 86. Since he is no longer among the top 100, 85 (or less) seems likely.
Gareth Bale (Real Madrid)
He was strong in FIFA 19: Bale was ranked 31st in EA Sports’ FIFA 19 list. Overall, the Welsh winger from Madrid had an 88 rating and excelled with high pace and shooting values. He was the best FIFA 19 player to fall out of the top 100 in FIFA 20.
How strong will he be in FIFA 20? The community would give him an 86 rating, but EA Sports might be harsher. A rating of 85 or lower seems realistic since he is no longer in the top 100.
Other players who fall out of the top 100: In addition to these 10 well-known stars, several others will drop out of the top 100, such as Otamendi, Azpilicueta, Douglas Costa, Matic, Nainggolan, Diego Costa, Vidal, Kompany, Dzeko, Asensio, or Mahrez. However, these players were already on the edge of the top 100 in FIFA 19.
