Community Day January 20 – Start and End

- What is the Community Day anyway? The Community Day in Pokémon GO is a global event that takes place monthly. This gives the developers at Niantic a great opportunity for trainers to meet with other players in parks and play together.
- There are special Pokémon. For each Community Day, a special Pokémon appears more frequently worldwide for a few hours. These special Pokémon will have a unique move when caught during the event period.

- The first event lasts three hours.
- It starts in Germany at 11:00 AM and ends at 2:00 PM.

- Its exclusive event move is “Surfer”

The Thought Behind Community Days
Keep in mind that Community Day events are not comparable to Halloween or other major events in Pokémon GO. They are smaller and typically only last a few hours. Nevertheless, they benefit the community and the game.
On one hand, trainers have the chance to conduct mass evolutions due to the increased experience points and collect many experience points. Fortunately, this annoying bug was fixed beforehand, which would have made evolving a nightmare.
The Community Day is also suitable for trainers who briefly stopped playing Pokémon GO but want to start again now.
