The developers have reason to celebrate
What is the milestone? Dune Awakening has already been added to the wishlists of over 1 million players on their Steam accounts. While Funcom has not sold their MMO to these players yet, the community is already showing that the project is being followed with interest.

In the same newsletter, which the team calls “Comuninet Signal,” the developers also summarize the latest news about the game. This includes a new cinematic trailer titled “The Vision of Paul Atreides,” which gives hints about an alternative history.
When can Dune Awakening be played? If you are among the many players who have already added the MMO to their wishlist, you will have to be patient. As mentioned, there is still no official release date.
However, you can participate in the closed beta and sign up on the website. This way, you will have the chance to enter and explore the sandy world of Arrakis before the official release. Among other things, an Ornithopter, the flying machines from Dune, will be involved, which are supposed to allow flying from one server to another.
