A huge update is coming for Star Wars: Battlefront 2. The developers are now showing gameplay of the new Droidekas and providing further insights.
What kind of update is this? This update was announced at the beginning of June and now further details have been revealed. Numerous new features are coming, and as a highlight, you can activate the rolling droids, Droidekas, in the game.
A new tank is also rolling into the game, and there will be a preview of more features coming in 2019.

This video has been released: EA has released a nearly 2-minute-long video on YouTube discussing the new features of the update.
What does the update bring? There are several changes that we will list for you here:
- The rolling droids, Droidekas, are coming into the game
- The TX-130 is coming as a new tank in the game
- There will be several new outfits in the game, including for Anakin Skywalker
What can the Droidekas do? On the sides of the Separatists, the Droidekas will fight against the dark side of the Force. They will be particularly proficient in three things:
- They are incredibly fast and agile when rolling around
- They fire with two weapons at their opponents
- A shield protects the Droidekas from enemy fire

What will the new tank be able to do? The TX-130 will fight on the side of the Galactic Republic and will cause destruction.
It is equipped with rockets that it can fire from both sides simultaneously, allowing you to deal heavy damage.
When will the update come? In just a few days, you will be able to play the new update. On June 26, it will be ready, and the Droidekas will come to Battlefront 2.
There is also a preview: At the end of the trailer for the update, there is a small teaser for future updates. Soon, the planet Felucia will come into the game, where you will learn new ways to play Battlefront 2.
