In the MMO shooter Destiny, a player recorded a YouTube clip showing which materials he could hit with a special sniper rifle, the LDR 5001.
The LDR-5001, a Vanguard sniper rifle with armor-piercing rounds, we have already introduced to you. Meanwhile, we even know, what the name stands for: LDR is a long-distance relationship, 5001 could be 5001 feet, almost 1.5 kilometers. Above that, a deadly shot is still possible.
The LDR-5001 is not an “Exotic” and the kills with it are not as spectacular as with The Last Word or knife kills, but it is a true wonder weapon, as it can shoot through just about anything in Destiny: as long as it only has a single layer.
The special “Wallbuster” ability of the LDR-5001 is impressively showcased in this Crucible video.
