A mount in Where Winds Meet has a special ability that makes it really strong, but it’s not free.
What kind of mount is this? In a new video by YouTuber Joshinbo, he presents a special mount from Where Winds Meet that is something special. It is the horse “Energetic Racer”, which not only has a cool appearance and various skills but also possesses a unique ability that only this horse has. No other mount in Where Winds Meet has the skill “Blossom Collection”, and it is quite powerful.

A skill that makes your grind much easier
What kind of skill is this? The Blossom Collection skill allows players to collect resources while riding on the back of the horse. Within a radius of about 10 meters around the player, all resources are simply looted without needing to do more than press a button.
The horse is incredibly strong in the endgame, where many of the upgrade materials need to be farmed in the open world to improve your character. Although the collection ability has a cooldown of 10 seconds, for the YouTuber, it’s still: “The best $20 you can spend.” Due to the adjusted exchange rate, the mount costs about €20 in Germany (1280 Echo Pearls).
How does Where Winds Meet finance itself? Even though the mount offers an advantage over the regular mounts in the game, it does not lock content behind a paywall. That’s not how it works in Where Winds Meet, which is why the game claims to be Pay2Win-free.
Where Winds Meet primarily finances itself through player purchases in the shop. There, players can buy individual outfits, a gacha system where they can receive exclusive skins, as well as new animations for abilities and skills.
Gameplay advantages, like with the “Energetic Racer”, are only available as convenience purchases that make certain functions in the game more pleasant. For example, for owners of the battle pass, there’s the possibility to access certain vendors in the game even when not on-site. This saves walking distance and some loading bars.
