In Destiny 2 you have a limited time chance to obtain and upgrade an armor set in the Solstice style. The “Solstice of Heroes 2019” event is ongoing. Here’s how it works.
This is what the Solstice armor is about: On July 30th, the summer event in Destiny 2 started. This is called Solstice of Heroes and offers a new activity in the form of the European Airzone as well as a limited-time armor set.
This is how you get the armor set: First, go to Eva Levante in the Tower. She is located right near the spawn point in the courtyard, where there is also a huge Solstice statue. She greets you warmly and gives you your first Solstice armor piece of green quality (Void).
Next, you need to complete a run in the European Airzone. You start the event at the statue in the Tower or via the navigator on the Tower map. Once this is done, you will receive the remaining armor pieces.
Now you have the complete set. However, the grind is just beginning. You need to upgrade the armor pieces multiple times – from green quality level to Masterwork.
We have more tips for the Solstice of Heroes here for you.

How to upgrade the Solstice armor
For each Guardian class, there are different tasks that distribute differently across the armor pieces. All tasks come from datamining and have not yet been fully verified.
Important: You must equip the armor pieces to make progress. Additionally, during the Solstice of Heroes, different elemental bonuses (Solar, Arc, Void) are active each day. You must take this into account for the tasks.
