In Destiny 2, each season and episode brings new ornaments for Exos to the shop, which are then sold. Some are loved by fans, while others face question marks. However, one ornament has taken it too far and made a silly Exo even uglier.
Which Exo is meant? The Zenotaph Mask for the Warlock is considered one of the ugliest Exos in Destiny 2. The helmet looks like a manta ray stuck on someone’s head. While the exotic effect of the armor works well in combination with the Exo “Divinity”, the look of the helmet can’t convince.
Nevertheless, the Exo is popular among Warlocks and is therefore often used for tougher content. Fittingly due to its popularity, Bungie has now designed a paid ornament for the helmet, but unfortunately, this looks even worse than the plain headgear.
With €6, you become the ancient statue
What does the ornament look like? The ornament is called “Hermetic Hood” and is offered for 600 Silver (approximately €6) in the Eververse. At first glance, the helmet looks like an ancient mask of a warrior when viewed from the front, but when you rotate your Guardian, you discover the distinctive, protruding point at the back of the mask. See for yourself:

Looking at the helmet, one might think that Bungie mixed the Zenotaph Mask with the Titan Exo “Eternal Warrior” and gave it a pompadour for a nicer finish, making it look more rounded.
While the Zenotaph Mask looks like an abstract representation of a sea creature, at least with the Hermetic Hood, you can ensure that your Warlock has a face and not a gaping hole.
If you are interested in the helmet, you can wait until Bungie offers it for Glimmer. It is unclear when the helmet might be offered, but it seems that the last ornaments from the previous episode will only come to the shop in the new episode of Revenant. Therefore, it is likely that you will have to wait until the current episode is completed for the ornament to appear “for free” in the shop.
