You can immobilize the biggest enemies in Helldivers 2 if you have the right gadget

In Helldivers 2 there are enemies that are large, armored, and want to destroy you by any means necessary. Especially the Rushers and Acid Titans serve the Terminites well. A new gadget that was introduced with the latest war bond “On the Edge” can temporarily incapacitate even the nastiest enemies.

What is this gadget? With the “On the Edge” war bond, Helldivers 2 received a new grenade, the G-23 Stun Grenade. This is a stun grenade that you can unlock for 25 medals.

If you have equipped the G-23 Stun Grenade and throw it at an enemy, they will be temporarily stunned and thereby incapacitated. However, you cannot kill a bug or robot with a stun grenade; you still need other weapons for that.

Even armored enemies like Rushers and Acid Titans are affected by the stun effect of the new grenades. You can then easily take them out with a simple trick.

How can you use the stun grenades in combat? Ideally, you combine the stun grenade with tactical equipment. This way, you can ensure with the stun grenade that your 500-kg bomb hits an enemy who would normally just run out of range.

Alternatively, you can also request blue tactical equipment like backpacks and support weapons and try to crush your enemies with them. You just need to make sure with the stun grenades that they do not move too far from the impact point of your equipment. Use several grenades for this if necessary.

The stun grenade has a big disadvantage

What disadvantage does the grenade have? The G-23 Stun Grenade cannot be used to close nests of the Terminites. For this, you need to carry explosive grenades like the G-6 Fragmentation Grenade or the G-16 Contact Grenade and throw them into the opening of the nest.

So if you want to close nests specifically, you need to make sure to carry an alternative when assembling your equipment. Besides grenades, the grenade launcher and the automatic cannon are also suitable for this – that way, you won’t have to forgo the stun grenade either.
