If you watch a few streams over the weekend, you will be rewarded with current card packs from Hearthstone .
This weekend marks the next eSports tournament for Hearthstone. To encourage a few more viewers to watch the duels in the collectible card game, Blizzard is again providing additional incentives. Anyone who watches the streams will be rewarded with free card packs.
What rewards are available? Anyone who watches the streams for at least 3 hours over the weekend will receive one pack of “Rise of Shadows.” If you watch the streams for 6 hours, you will receive 2 pack of cards. The time does not have to be watched “continuously” but can be spread out over the entire weekend.
Additionally, Blizzard will raffle off classic packs every hour to 1,500 randomly selected viewers. Those who watch the streams the whole time can thus snag a few card packs if luck is on their side.
Which streams should be watched? The various official Hearthstone channels on Twitch. That would be the PlayHearthstone channel.
When will the streaming take place? The games will take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The streams will be live from 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following day our time.
What are the requirements? To benefit from the free card packs, your Twitch account and Battle.net account must be linked. You can do this in your Twitch profile settings. If you meet the requirements afterward, the card packs will be credited to your account at a later time automatically.
Do such rewards motivate you to actively watch the streams? Or do you just let them run in the 17th tab of your browser in the background?
