In December 2017, the Xbox Games with Gold not only takes you Back to the Future. It also includes combat adventures and a motion-control game. These are the free games for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
For the month of December, Xbox Games with Gold members have access to four free games. Two of them are available for Xbox One and two for Xbox 360. The two Xbox 360 games can also be played on Xbox One thanks to backward compatibility.
Games with Gold December 2017 – Free Games for Xbox One and Xbox 360
In December, these two titles are available for Xbox One:
- Warhammer: End Time – Vermintide (Free for the entire December 2017): This cooperative action-adventure is set in the end times of the Warhammer universe. Vermintide is about a city overrun by ratmen. To fend off an apocalyptic invasion, you take on the role of one of five heroes. Each of the five hero roles offers you a different playstyle, different equipment, and a unique personality.
- Back to the Future: 30th Anniversary Edition (Free from December 16, 2017, to January 15, 2018): In this edition of the Back to the Future series, Marty McFly must travel back to 1931 to ask the reluctant teenager Emmett Brown for help. This is important because only by doing so can he save Doc from dying in 1985.
These free games are available in December 2017 for Xbox 360
- Child of Eden (Free from December 1 to December 15, 2017): In this motion-control game, you play without buttons or keys, but with gestures. The story revolves around a girl named Lumi, who was the first human born in space. Your goal is to rescue Lumi. You do this in five different levels, where you must shoot down various objects flying onto the screen.
- Marlow Briggs and the Mask of the Death (Free from December 16 to December 31): This action game offers you action-packed combat in the third-person perspective. In the jungles of Central America, you must kill a corporate executive. Along the way, you will face plenty of fights. The cinematic gameplay is often compared to games like Tomb Raider.
