Attention, bargain hunters: The introductory offer for the Xbox Game Pass is back. The first month of the subscription currently costs €1 – we will tell you who can take advantage of the offer.
After Microsoft has increased prices for the Game Pass and Xbox Series X, they are now enticing with an introductory offer for the subscription.
How much does the subscription currently cost? For the first month in the Game Pass, you currently pay €1 – at least for the PC version and for the Ultimate version that applies to both PC and console. A subscription on the console still costs €10.99.
Starfield will also be available in the Game Pass at release. You can even pre-install it. Here is a trailer for the game:
Price Overview
After the promotional period ends, the subscription will automatically continue at the current regular price:
| Game Pass Ultimate | currently: €1 for the first month | thereafter: €14.99 |
| Game Pass for PC | currently: €1 for the first month | thereafter: €9.99 |
| Game Pass for consoles | €10.99 | €10.99 |
Who is eligible for the price? The introductory month offer is only valid for new customers. Terminating an existing subscription has, at least in our case, not helped. If you re-sign a contract, the regular price will apply.
What does the Game Pass bring me? With the Game Pass, you have access to a selection of hundreds of games on PC and console. The offer is regularly expanded and updated. The introductory offer at a low price is suitable for getting a feel for whether the pass is right for you or not.
Our colleagues at GameStar have listed the offer up to date, sorted by genres.
In the Game Pass, you can receive and install the following games for free:
- Bramble
- Gears 5
- Mortal Kombat 11
- Forza Horizon 5
- Sea of Thieves
- Grounded
- Microsoft Flight Simulator
- Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
- High on Life
- No Man’s Sky
- Ghostwire: Tokyo

The subscription is good for trying out games that you are unsure about without having to spend unnecessary money on them. Or to get a feel for games that are seen as flops:
