In Wuchang Fallen Feathers there are gates that present you with puzzles. Where to find them, how to solve them, and what awaits you is explained here.
What are these mysterious doors? In the game, there are exactly 3 doors or gates that present you with a choice of two answers. If you answer them, you will receive rewards or consequences, depending on your choice. If you solve all 3 doors, you will receive the trophy or achievement called “Wise”.
All gates have a red, lightning-like vertical beam that makes them easy to identify.
Puzzle Gate I
Location: You will find the first puzzle pretty much automatically since you just need to follow the story. It is located in the palace where you will have to face 2 boss fights.
| Correct Answer | The Rise of the Winged |
| Reward | Shen – Lasting Momentum (Blessing) |
Puzzle Gate II
Location: You will find this gate near a checkpoint and a bridge in the area Sky Fortress – Hill Watch.
| Correct Answer | Challenge the Threads of Fate |
| Reward | – Kong Wine 1 x – Bride’s Armor |
Puzzle Gate III
Location: Gate number 3 can be found in the underworld towards the end of the game. Right next to it is the shrine of the area Capital of the Bo – Depths of the Capital.
| Correct Answer | The Great Dream Fades |
| Reward | Talk to the Ferryman and receive “Shimmering Red Feather” |
Wrong Answers and Their Consequences
What happens if you answer incorrectly? If you give the wrong answer, you will be teleported away and have to fight a strong enemy. Depending on the door, your teleportation location will be your last checkpoint until you find another one.
If you answer the first door incorrectly, you can, however, also receive additional items that may be helpful. However, you will not receive the trophy then.
With the third door, it may be advantageous to intentionally give the wrong answer, depending on which ending you want to achieve. The wrong answer in this case is related to the “True Ending”.
