If you want to achieve the true ending, follow these steps:
- Do not have the “Ring of Samsara – Rebirth” in your inventory or use it before going to the Burning Cave
- Do not give the Jade Chisel to Xuanyangzi
- Defeat Xuanyangzi and remain silent when talking to him
- After the boss fight, go to the gate and choose “Enter the Realm of Truth”
The Good Ending – Sweet Illusion of Dreams
To obtain the good ending, you need to proceed as follows:
- Complete the quest lines of Fang Yao and He Youzai
- Accept the storyteller’s request in the Scholar’s Garden
- Do not give the Jade Chisel to Xuanyangzi
- Find the Riddle Door in the Capital of the Bo and give the wrong answer
- Defeat the Demon of Obsession
- Do not use the two Rings of Samara
- Craft the “Ring of Samsara – Rebirth”
- Defeat Xuanyangzi
- After the boss fight, go to the gate and choose “Enter the Realm of Dreams”
The Bad Ending – A Jug Full of Medicine
To get the bad ending, you need to do the following:
- Give Xuanyangzi the Jade Chisel
- After the boss fight, go to the gate and choose “Enter the Stream of Samsara”
The Secret Ending – Descendant of the Bo
To unlock the secret ending, you should follow these steps:
- Complete the quest line of the lady in red
- Talk to her whenever possible until you can select the option “I agree” in chapter three
- Decline the storyteller’s request for help in the Scholars’ Garden
- Go to the palace in chapter 4 and defeat the boss Grand Sorceress of the Bo
- With this ending, the game is finished early and you skip chapter 5
