How Method’s kill against the last boss of WoW: Legion went, they show in the video. Here you can watch it!
The race for the top spots in the “First Kill” leaderboard of World of Warcraft: Legion is finally over. After Method defeated the last boss in Antorus, the Burning Throne a few days ago, several guilds have followed suit. The Russian guild Exorsus takes home second place and the European guild Memento has fought for third place.
Thus, the major spots have been assigned, and the guilds traditionally begin publishing their kill videos. The secrecy of the boss strategies is lifted, and the public can finally participate in the final phases of the boss fights.
11 minutes of tension from Method to the Argus kill in WoW
You can watch the boss fight lasting nearly 11 minutes here. Including the usual “nerd scream” at the end when the kill finally happens. There is also a brief moment of confusion – as all players are forced into a loading screen for a moment, which looks like a reset boss fight.
Argus, the Annoyance has much to offer in mythic mode. The fight already includes a phase where all players are directly killed by the boss – this happens multiple times in mythic mode, controlled deaths are part of the strategy.
The video, including the recognizable damage values from Recount, shows surprisingly well what differentiates the pros from the “casuals” – it’s indeed more than just pressing a few keys at the right moment.
It is also nice to see that even within Method there are some “experts” who ask 30 seconds before the actual kill “Was that it!” potentially jeopardizing a victory through bad karma. No wonder that in the voice chat there is only a brief “Shut the fuck up!” to keep everyone at maximum concentration.
