In World of Warcraft you can invite your friends and be rewarded for it. Rewards include mounts, pets, and game time when your friends are active in Azeroth.
The program “Recruit a Friend”, or RAF for short, has been around for a while. Now Blizzard has updated the rewards.
Anyone who recruits new or returning players who haven’t had game time for at least 2 years will be rewarded.
Convince 4 friends a month to come to Azeroth
You can connect your account through the program with up to 10 players. However, you can only recruit 4 new friends every 30 days, not all 10 at once.
Every time one of your friends adds game time, your rewards progress. If 2 friends subscribe for a month, you immediately achieve the reward for 2 months. Once you’ve received everything, you can regularly expect new game time.
These rewards are available:
- Pet: Unpredictable self-driving toolbox after 1 month
- Cosmetic item: Shredder gloves after 2 months
- Cosmetic item: Snazzy buddy after 3 months
- 30 days of game time after 4 months
- Cosmetic item: S.C.A.N.N.E.R. Mk. 3 after 5 months
- Mount: Rocket shredder 9001 after 6 months
You should note that the items are only available for the retail version and not in WoW Classic. The game time applies to both versions, of course.
How can I use the program? To invite your friends and connect with you, you must first log into WoW. Through the RAF interface, you then create an invitation link that you can send. The first one works 4 times, and then you can create the next one after 30 days.
A feature syncs your group
As before, the RAF program brings benefits to your shared gameplay in WoW. For example, you can teleport to each other every 30 minutes.
Also interesting is the group synchronization. This allows you to align the quest status of all group members – so veterans can replay quests with their friends. Your level will also be adjusted with this feature.
In addition, there is a RAF window in the user interface. There you can see which rewards you will receive soon and activate the group synchronization. You will also see challenges in that window that you can complete together with your friends to earn more rewards.
