A new cinematic is available in World of Warcraft. We show you how dramatically the Battle of Dazar’Alor begins!
The Americans are, as always with patch releases of World of Warcraft, a few hours ahead of us. They have already played the latest raid “Battle for Dazar’Alor” and have seen the cutscenes and cinematics.
Spoiler warning: If you do not want to be spoiled about the cinematic for the opening of the Battle of Dazar’Alor, you should not read further. You have been warned.
Here’s what to see: The cinematic shows the Alliance’s attack on the heart of the Troll Empire. The fleet of Kul Tiras sails towards Dazar’Alor. Jaina, her brother, Gelbin, and Mathias Shaw participate in the attack and have a clear plan. They approach the Horde’s defenses seemingly unprotected and come under fire.
There are some hits, and at one point, it even seems as though Gelbin has been fatally hit. Jaina, on the other hand, has some cool plays and manages to protect herself and a few others with a Manashield.
However, the Alliance, with the help of Gelbin (and the players’ war campaign), has installed a lot of explosives on the Horde’s defenses, which will be detonated on command. Within seconds, almost the entire Horde defense is destroyed, allowing the Alliance to reach the shore.
