Dance Party in WoW: It’s time to really “dance it out” in Azeroth – and new transmog gear is also available at the styling competition in Patch 7.2.5!
The Patch 7.2.5 for World of Warcraft is just a “small” patch that does not bring particularly large content like areas or new raids. Instead, Blizzard focuses on plenty of “small stuff,” such as class balancing, micro-holidays, or other events, like a timewalking variant for the Black Temple.
But one feature players have been waiting for since “Wrath of the Lich King” is the Dance Studio. While this made its digital debut in the form of a garrison quest in Warlords of Draenor, it wasn’t really convincing yet.
Auction Houses Become Party Temples
In Patch 7.2.5, there is a new micro-holiday, the “Auction House Dance Party“. As the name suggests, the celebration takes place in the auction houses of the game world, which have been quickly transformed into a dance floor. During the event, strange music plays, and all characters start dancing wildly. Occasionally, an individual player is brought up on stage and receives a 24-hour buff to show just how special they are – similar to other micro-holidays.
Trial of Style – Who Has the Coolest Outfit?
A second holiday is the “Trial of Style” where several players are thrown into a scenario and then have to transmog their character according to a given theme. Afterwards, all players vote on which outfit is the best and are rewarded with a new currency to buy real transmog gear.
However, it will probably be a few months before the release of Patch 7.2.5, as its predecessor 7.2 has only been on the live servers for a few weeks.
Illidan’s Warglaives are also returning with Patch 7.2.5 – but only for one class.
