A new hotfix for World of Warcraft is targeting druids. They are no longer “one-hit wonders” in World PvP.
Although Blizzard is currently working on the next Patch 7.3.2 for World of Warcraft, the developers are taking the opportunity to introduce a small hotfix. With the Netherlight Crucible, the balance of power in World of Warcraft has shifted once again. In particular, druids will suffer under the new hotfix, and their dominance in PvP is likely to shrink significantly – but it was sorely needed!
PvP Changes
Druid
Shred now deals 25% additional damage when stealthed in PvP situations (previously 50%).
Claw Strike now deals 50% additional damage when stealthed in PvP situations (previously 100%).
Feral
Rampaging Ferocity now costs 5 combo points.
Rampaging Ferocity incapacitates the target for 6 seconds (previously 5 seconds).
The damage of Moonfire and Sunfire is reduced by 20% in PvP situations.
Bleed reduces the target’s maximum health by 15% (previously 25%).
Demon Hunter
The duration of Imprison against other players is now 3 seconds (previously 4 seconds).
Detainment now increases the cooldown of Imprison to 45 seconds (previously 30 seconds).
Monk
Windwalker
The Versatility of the PvP template has been increased by 5%.
The Armor of the PvP template has been increased by 10%.
The Mana regeneration has been increased by 5% in PvP situations.
The absorption of Life Cocoon has been increased by 10% in PvP situations.
Paladin
Holy
Avenging Crusade now heals for 175% of the damage dealt (previously 200%).
Shaman
Restoration
Earth Shield reduces all damage taken by the target by 10% (previously 15%).
Warlock
Destruction
Chaos Bolt now deals 10% less damage in PvP situations.
Focused Chaos increases the damage of Chaos Bolt by 65% (previously 75%).
Firestone increases critical strike chance by 65% (previously 75%).
The Intellect of the PvP template has been increased by 6%.
The hotfix will be deployed tomorrow morning (September 27, 2017) along with the maintenance.
