Many players in WoW have not received their PvP titles. The community is accordingly angry.
Recently, the first PvP season of the current expansion Legion has ended in World of Warcraft. As usual, titles and other rewards (such as tokens for specific mounts) were supposed to be distributed after a short delay. Actually. This time, it seems that something went wrong with the distribution of the titles, as only about 1/3 of the players who had calculated a title actually received it.
WoW: Where is my Gladiator title?
To obtain a title in PvP within World of Warcraft, one must belong to the elite in the respective mode. For instance, anyone wanting to call themselves “Gladiator” needed to be among the top 0.5% of players, as only then would the title be credited at the end of the season.
Currently, there is a lot of hate in the official forum directed at Blizzard, as numerous players have not received their “hard-earned” title.
The Community Manager Ornyx commented on the issue:
“First – players who qualified for the title “Ravenous Gladiator” will receive it no sooner than after the holidays. There is currently a problem with the distribution of titles, and we will look into this in the coming weeks.
Secondly – we are currently reviewing the number of titles that have been issued to ensure they meet our expectations. We will evaluate the reward process and the data from this season in the coming weeks. We expect to provide you with new information in January.
We want to apologize to all players affected; we do not want to disrupt the PvP community like this. We aim to fix the problems sooner rather than later, so that upcoming PvP seasons can occur without interruption.”
A final resolution to the issue will likely only come once the developers return from vacation.
