In World of Warcraft, the best guilds are currently competing against each other in a race. The goal is to defeat the new raid Nerub-ar Palace first at the Mythic difficulty level.
What are the professionals doing there? The best guilds from World of Warcraft are currently in a competition. The goal for all guilds is to complete the new raid “Nerub-ar Palace” first at the Mythic difficulty level.
The raid is particularly difficult and currently demands a lot even from the greatest professionals. One guild has now achieved an initial milestone.
A piece of World of Warcraft will soon be available on Netflix:
A Princess that Hurts
In the race for the first clear of the raid, the first 4 bosses fell to the guilds on the first day. Boss number 5 out of 8 was also defeated within a day.
Which boss took the professionals 300 hours to defeat? However, things became difficult for the guilds with the “Nexus-Princess Ky’veza”. The princess proved to be extraordinarily tough, and the guilds attempted to defeat her for two days and hundreds of attempts – without success.
While many guilds had caught up to the Liquid guild, the attempts to defeat the princess increasingly approached success. The Liquid guild had previously become the first to clear bosses number 3, 4, and 5.
By attempt number 304, it was time: The Liquid guild succeeded in a good attempt to also defeat the princess. The joy of the professionals was hardly to be overheard; their cheers and the attempt can be watched on YouTube:
Have other guilds also defeated the boss? In the meantime, the European guild Echo and the guild Method have also been able to defeat the princess. Although the two guilds needed fewer attempts, they were able to observe the strategy from Team Liquid. All other guilds continue to try and have not yet defeated the princess. However, they keep trying.
For Team Liquid, it went straight to the next boss, the “Silken Court,” with some test attempts. The boss duo has now also been defeated by the Liquid guild after more than 170 attempts. The guilds Echo and Method still have to catch up here.
Currently, Team Liquid has a lead and is the only one allowed to face the final boss Queen Ansurek. The spider is the final boss of the raid and will likely present another significant challenge for the teams.
The race for the World Firsts is a unique e-sport, which exists among others in World of Warcraft. The MMORPG Tarisland tried to establish its own version of it and had the guilds Liquid and Echo compete against each other, but they failed at the very first boss: The 2 best WoW guilds in the world are raiding in Tarisland now, failing at the first boss
