The next patch for World of Warcraft is approaching! The new quest line “A Dire Warning” has already appeared on the live servers.
For some time now, fans have been speculating about when the next update for World of Warcraft might be released. Although patch 7.1.5 has only been available for a few months and the raid “The Nighthold” has been fully accessible for just a few weeks, more and more hints suggest that patch 7.2 “The Tomb of Sargeras” could be released much earlier than players and fan sites expect.
A Dire Warning – New Quest Appears in WoW
The latest clue can be viewed by players themselves, as since yesterday (March 14, 2017) a wounded NPC is waiting in your class hall with a new quest “A Dire Warning”. He speaks of the atrocities on the Broken Shore and wants to “warn” the heroes. The quest seems to be independent of the progress of the own class campaign, only level 110 must have been reached by the character.
What exactly he wants to warn us about is not directly revealed, as the follow-up quest requires us to send a team of our champions on an exploration mission via the mission table. As a reward, the completion of the quest awaits, and depending on success, a moderate amount of artifact power.
Currently, the quest line seems to pause after this task. However, further tasks related to the shore can still be completed at the mission table – such as rescuing the wounded. Whether it continues afterwards remains to be seen.
WoW: “Investigation of the Broken Shore”
The new quest line in WoW leads to the “Investigation of the Broken Shore.”
It is possible that the series will continue next Tuesday and unlock the next step – very similar to the Illidan quest line or the pre-event for Legion back in the day.
Whether the quest will continue at all or if this is just a small teaser for the next patch, we do not know at this time. However, Legion once again proves that content and patches are now more logically interconnected than in previous expansions.
