While a good portion of the WoW community criticizes the racial abilities of the Earthlings from The War Within, others take advantage of a bonus to level up characters in the new regions without any combat.
What kind of bonus do the Earthlings have? The racial ability “Amazing Wonders” grants the Earthlings 200 percent extra experience for discovering a location. Sounds lame, right? However, some players have discovered that thanks to this seemingly “useless” effect, it’s easy to level freshly created Earthlings all the way to the new areas of The War Within.
Due to the bonus, the dwarf-like race receives about 1,950 experience points for uncovering a location. That’s enough to reach level 70 or 71 without fights or quests – thus entering the regions of Khaz Algar.

Fly and succeed … uh level!
Is there evidence for the claim? On Reddit, several WoW players have now published screenshots showing Earthlings leveling up by discovering zones. The user Rykin14 also pointed out on Reddit the kill statistics of his level-71 paladin: two creatures defeated throughout the entire leveling phase.
Under the post, the player explains that he traveled through the world for less than eight hours, mostly flying. He explored all of Kalimdor, the Eastern Kingdoms, and Draenor. In the shattered world, he had uncovered almost all regions when he reached level 70. However, all of this only works if you visit the different areas via Chromie’s timewalking.
What else do I need to know about the Earthlings? The new allied race and its corresponding heritage armor have been available for unlocking since the last ID change. You need to complete the launch campaign of WoW: The War Within and some side quest chains of the Earthlings to unlock them.
